It's important to ensure a N39 Order to attend Court for Questioning is served correctly. Instructing a Process Server in London will help ensure the papers are serve correctly and as quickly as possible. If the debtor fails to attend Court as directed, the Court will then be able to issue the N79a Suspended Committal Order for Disobedience.
Once the Court Order has been served you will receive a Sworn Affidavit of Service. We are required to allow 7 days from the date of service for the debtor to claim travel expenses. We will then confirm whether any were paid or not and also the amount due under the Judgment debt.
If the debtor tries to avoid personal service we will assist you with applying for an order that allows substituted service.
